Clothing Service and Sales Specialist

About the role

We are looking for amazing retail and winter enthusiasts to join our team as a seasonal clothing sales specialist this winter. The earliest start date is mid-September, with applications and hiring starting now. This position has the opportunity to grow into a full-time year-round patio sales role, which includes a full benefits package and heavy commission opportunities in the summer. Full-time seasonal positions are also available.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by being outgoing, friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and engaging with every customer.
• Greet every customer upon entrance and direct them to the appropriate section of the store.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the proper department.
• Restock, size, zipper, snap, and straighten clothing and merchandise at all times.
• Assist customers by offering product features and benefits, ensuring they find exactly what they need.
• Process sales transactions accurately at the register.
• Learn about all soft goods products sold in-store through training, paid clinics, online resources, and management support.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized store and register area.
• Ensure all clothing is priced, neat, and shoppable at all times.
• Perform facilities duties as needed, including vacuuming, mopping, washing windows, and taking out trash.

This is a physical position that includes lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills and retail sales experience.
• Cashier and cash handling experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Self-motivated and able to stay busy at all times.
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Availability to work weekend shifts and holidays.
