Clinician - Newton Outpatient

About the role

Riverside's Newton Outpatient Center is seeking a Clinician for all ages to provide direct clinical assessment and intervention for clients of the program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including developing treatment plans and goals in collaboration with the individual served
• Collaborate with treatment team and other providers to establish treatment plan and disposition
• Provide direct therapeutic intervention
• Maintain regular communication with treatment team and collateral providers/case managers as necessary, including attending planning or case management meetings regarding consumers
• Involve families in evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing treatment to the degree agreed upon with the person served
• Provide crisis management for clients on caseload and other outpatient center clients as necessary

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Must meet all requirements leading to an active professional license in the individual’s professional discipline, including continuing education and ethical requirements
• One year of experience specific to the clinician’s training and expertise
• Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) certification
• Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
• Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently

Pay

• Unlicensed Clinician: $61,800.12/year
• Independent Licensure: $64,890.17/year

Schedule

Full Time - 40 hours/week
