Clinical Technician - Autotransfusion
About the role
SpecialtyCare provides a comprehensive in-house training program to help you gain valuable skills and a career in health care. As a Clinical Technician in Autotransfusion, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our patients by running equipment that purifies the patient’s blood and returns it to the patient. This process, known as autotransfusion or cell salvage, reduces recovery time and prevents adverse effects associated with donor blood.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain autotransfusion equipment
- Collect, process, and return the patient’s own blood
- Participate in a call rotation including weekends and holidays
- Provide excellent customer service and work in a fast-paced environment
- Adapt to high-stress situations and work independently or as part of a team
- Complete on-the-job training including certification and company-sponsored education modules
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Able to work flexible hours and be on-call
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully complete on-the-job training including certification and company-sponsored education modules
Qualifications
Must live within 30 minutes of our contracted hospitals and be able to work flexible hours and participate in a call rotation including weekends and holidays. Basic computer skills and excellent communication skills are essential. Must be able to successfully complete on-the-job training including certification and company-sponsored education modules.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
