Clinical Technician - Autotransfusion
About the role
SpecialtyCare provides a comprehensive in-house training program to help you gain valuable skills and a career in health care. As an Autotransfusion Clinical Technician, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our patients by running equipment that purifies the patient’s blood and returning it to the patient. This process, known as autotransfusion or cell salvage, reduces recovery time and prevents adverse effects associated with donor blood.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain autotransfusion equipment
- Collect, process, and return the patient’s own blood
- Administer cell-based therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow aspirate concentrate
- Participate in a call rotation including weekends and holidays
- Complete on-the-job training including certification and company-sponsored education modules
Requirements
- Average or bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Must live within 30 minutes of contracted hospitals
- Able to work flexible hours and participate in a call rotation including weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation and the ability to be on-call
- Successfully complete on-the-job training including certification and company-sponsored education modules

- Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service on a consistent basis
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are essential

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
