Job Summary

The Clinical Team Leader (CTL) at the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness is responsible for overseeing patient care processes, resource allocation, and coordination within the unit. They are also involved in safety protocols, patient flow management, and continuous improvement of patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes work in a way that maximizes the use of available resources and aligns with the capabilities of team members.
  • Coordinates work and resources to meet changing requirements in the work environment, including managing patient flow through clinical logistics and crisis services.
  • Evaluates individual and collective outcomes of patient care, adjusts resource assignments, and reports changing needs and outcomes to the staff.
  • Observes and contributes to evaluations of patient care, suggesting proficiency evaluations and providing educational insights to colleagues.
  • Ensures the smooth operation of the assigned unit during a specific time period, while maintaining situational awareness of patient status and overall unit acuity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of healthcare experience.
  • A registered nursing license in the State of Ohio.
  • CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • An associate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred and expected to be obtained within five years of hire.

Benefits

  • Full-time schedule with 36 hours per week, including night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
  • Weekend and holiday rotations serving the inpatient Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center.

Pay

  • Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
