Clinical Support Technician

Main Functions

The Sunshine Center is dedicated to children of all ages experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language difficulties, and/or motor development delays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-center speech therapy sessions under the direction and supervision of licensed SLP clinicians, including support of telehealth services.
• Aid in the preparation, supervision, and coordination of therapy sessions.
• Maintain availability during scheduled therapy hours to support session delivery and patient needs.
• Support scheduling-related tasks such as make-up sessions, as assigned.
• Escort patients to and from therapy sessions.
• Maintain clean, organized, therapy-ready treatment rooms.
• Perform assigned administrative and operational tasks during non-therapy time.
• Provide limited front desk coverage, as assigned.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures when scheduled.
• Process faxed referrals and support intake-related workflows, as assigned.
• Support day-to-day center operations, as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned/required

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a healthcare, therapy, or clinical support environment is preferred.
• The ability to follow clinical direction and work collaboratively with licensed professionals is essential.
