Clinical Support Technician - Digestive Care
About the role
The Clinical Support Technician position is available to join the Digestive Care team at Regions Hospital, where you'll make a significant impact on patient care and the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide and/or support patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards and HealthPartners policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe work area and ensure it is adequately stocked, cleaned, and organized.
- Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.
- Room patients as directed.
- Perform clerical tasks consistent with office duties.
- Support patients as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years customer service experience and/or healthcare experience
- Complete Medical Terminology and Pharmacology online courses within six months of hire
- Complete BLS course within 1 week of hire and maintain BLS certification in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA)
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program and current Nursing Assistant Certification

Schedule
