About the role
The Clinical Support Analyst II – Operating Room, under the supervision of the surgical services manager, will be responsible for coordinating schedules, maintaining and reconciling payroll for assigned staff according to the needs identified by the nurse manager. The role involves collecting and compiling pertinent data, supporting functions for clinical departments, and assisting with financial goals through NDNQI reporting, budget development, productivity reporting, and other necessary financial data.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ongoing schedules for all staff in designated departments.
- Collaborate with managers and other staff to cover unanticipated scheduling needs.
- Assist the Director, Nursing Finance with NDNQI reporting, budget development, productivity reporting, and other financial data.
- Ensure staff time is accurate and ready for review and approval by the department manager for payroll purposes.
- Track completion of designated competencies for staff in assigned areas.
- Coordinate Environment of Care activities.
- Conduct FIT testing for staff as required by Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
- Provide education during orientation and follow-up training regarding the use of Kronos and time clocks.
- Support data management and administrative functions of designated departments.
- Support the CSA I position in day-to-day activities and technical issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting functioning in an independent role.
- Experience with staff scheduling preferred.
- Expertise in MS Office, Kronos, Shiftwizard, and Excel preferred.
