About the role
The Clinical Supervisor oversees the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care by ensuring competent staff, efficient resource utilization, and unit staffing adequacy. They collaborate with administrative staff, physicians, and co-workers to communicate and improve processes across the continuum.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient flow and bed issues
- Inspire and lead staff through change
- Model professional standards
- Foster a positive work environment
- Support, mentor, and recognize team members
- Hold providers accountable to policies and regulations
- Participate in evaluations with the Clinical Manager
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Current RN license
- 3-5 years hospital nursing experience
- Relevant certifications: AHA Healthcare Provider card, TNCC, ACLS, ENPC, or PALS
- Strong communication, clinical competence, data assessment skills, and leadership qualities
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
