Clinical Supervisor: Occupational Therapy
About the role
The Clinical Supervisor - Therapy is responsible for overseeing patient care and clinical personnel. This is a hybrid role combining fieldwork and office-based responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Handles incoming calls and ensures appropriate actions are taken to meet customer needs.
- Counsels and guides clinicians to promote effective performance and quality care.
- Coordinates training and educational programs for nurses within the field.
- Assists clinicians in establishing therapeutic goals and developing care plans.
- Reviews and evaluates patient cases, discussing and verifying impressions with clinicians.
- Participates in bi-weekly Case Conferences to discuss patient progress and revise care plans.
- Serves as the first point of contact for field clinicians, assisting with patient care escalations.
Requirements
- Two years management or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation therapy department or program, preferably in home care.
- A degree from a baccalaureate or masters program in applicable discipline approved by an accredited organization.
- A current CA Occupational Therapist license.
- A valid CA Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with patient assessment and care planning.

Schedule
This is a hybrid role combining fieldwork and office-based responsibilities. The Clinical Supervisor - Therapy will spend 2 days in the Roseville Office and 3 days in the field, visiting 15 patients weekly (including supervisory visits).
