Occupational Therapist Supervisor
Responsibilities
Supervises Rehab Services daily activities.
The Supervisor of Occupational Therapy is responsible for onboarding, training and supervising the Occupational Staff, along with rehab department leadership.
The Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapy programs to meet the identified needs of the hospital and community.
The Supervisor assists with the management of fiscal and personnel resources in Occupational Therapy.
Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census with a negative variance.
Affords assistance to the rehab leadership team in managing the department and assumes any delegated assignments, including coverage of peer duties.
Works as a member of the multidisciplinary team within and outside of the rehab services department.
Qualifications
- EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Master’s or doctoral degree in the field of occupational therapy
- Licensed by the Occupational Therapy Board of state
- BCLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current
- Three years’ experience as a practicing occupational therapist
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $39.36 to $57.01.
