Clinical Staff Pharmacist

About the role

Provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients, physicians and staff of UF Health Central Florida.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of physician orders
• Maintenance of medication profiles and providing drug information
• Attendance and involvement in varied medical staff committees/meetings
• Adverse drug reaction reporting and follow-up
• Treatmental interchanges
• Parenteral nutrition monitoring
• Pharmacokinetics dosing and follow-up
• Medication dosing and follow-up (e.g., coumadin, antibiotics)
• IV to PO recommendations

Qualifications

• Education: Professional School, College Masters, or more
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid Florida Pharmacist License
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
