About the role
The pharmacist provides age-specific pharmaceutical care and clinical services within assigned patient care areas, contributing to departmental goals, QA, and PI activities.
Responsibilities
- managing medication orders with age considerations to ensure safety
- participating in pharmacotherapeutic planning
- supervising healthcare team members
- processing sterile products
- providing drug information and education
- actively participating in departmental committees
- optimizing safety through automation
- completing assigned objectives
Qualifications
- minimum of one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Training such as BLS/ACLS and advanced clinical experience is preferred
Skills

Licensure
Licensure must be current, active, and unrestricted for the applicable state, with eligibility required within 120 days of hire.
