Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychosocial assessments and clinical interventions
- Deliver crisis counseling, individual, couples, and family therapy
- Facilitate support groups and short-term bereavement counseling
- Coordinate care throughout the cancer journey across all disease groups
- Collaborate with oncologists, APPs, nurse navigators, infusion nurses, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and community partners
- Connect patients and families with internal and external resources to address social, emotional, and practical needs
- Advocate for patients and help remove barriers to care
Job Requirements
- Minimum Education - Preferred Master's Degree in Social Work from accredited program
- Current Massachusetts license required
- Minimum Work Experience
- Required Licenses / Registrations LCSW or LICSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Work Schedule
This is a hybrid position, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
