About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist with strong clinical knowledge in respiratory care, a passion for education, and eagerness to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This role supports Electromed account growth through key opinion leader (KOL) clinical engagement, educational content development, fieldwork, clinical sales support, and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand relationships with KOLs through clinical engagement opportunities.
  • Manage regional KOL networks to promote peer-to-peer events and educational opportunities.
  • Deliver presentations to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Influence account growth and development through clinical expertise and support.
  • Support national and regional medical meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of clinical education literature and presentations.
  • Provide direct clinical sales support to new and tenured Clinical Area Managers (CAMs) through disease state and airway clearance expertise.
  • Travel across a specified geography to join CAMs in field calls, providing clinical sales support and continuing education.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of clinical experience in respiratory/pulmonary care.
  • Current state RT or RN license in good standing.
  • Clinical expertise in airway clearance therapy, high frequency chest wall oscillation, and related diseases/conditions.
  • Previous presentation development and/or skilled writing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in DME, sales, or sales support strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of pulmonary anatomy and physiology, airway clearance functions, and respiratory therapy equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical education and mentorship.
  • Highly adaptable to stakeholder needs and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a range of medical professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and presenting to groups of all sizes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with strong team-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license (must maintain).
  • Must live within one hour of a major international airport in the West or Pacific regions.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, with an expectation of spending at least three weeks per month in the field alongside sales representatives, meeting with physicians, or attending industry events.

Pay

Compensation is comprised of a base salary between $82,000–$110,000 plus quarterly incentives.
