Clinical Respiratory Specialist
Overview
Sentara Health is recruiting a Clinical Respiratory Specialist to work at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. The position is part‑time on the first (day) shift.
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 183‑bed not‑for‑profit hospital offering a range of clinical services, including advanced imaging, cancer care, cardiovascular care, emergency care, orthopedics, and weight‑loss services, all supported by the Sentara eCare® electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Certification/Licensure: State Respiratory license and NBRC RRT. BLS required at time of hire. For new graduates, the state license and BLS must be held at hire, and NBRC RRT must be obtained within six months of the hire date.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of respiratory care experience, including 5 years in critical care.
Pay
The base pay range for full‑time employment is $86,819.20 – $129,958.40 annually. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Pay varies based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
