Clinical Respiratory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage respiratory needs of patients in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures as directed by physician orders
• Monitor patient’s respiratory status and adjust treatment plan accordingly
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
• Current state Respiratory license
• National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) RRT certification required at time of hire
• 5 years of Respiratory Care experience
• 5 years of critical care experience
