About the role

Provide specialized therapeutic programming to clients in an alcohol and other drug treatment program. Responsible for all aspects of program content, including security, assessment/evaluation, psycho-educational programming, monitoring and reporting, teaching, training and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement substance use treatment plans.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and report on client progress.
  • Teach and train staff and clients on substance use treatment methods.
  • Assess and evaluate client needs and progress.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience providing behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a previously listed field.
  • Master’s degree in a previously listed field.

Skills

  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and human relations skills.
  • Ability to provide substance use treatment.
  • Ability to formulate and implement treatment plans.
  • Ability to develop and implement continuing care plans.

Pay

$28.75 - $42.16 / hourly; $60,030 - $88,030 / annually

Schedule

Day shift: 7 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
