CLINICAL PHP MANAGER (LCSW/LCPC) - Full Time

About the role

Located in Garfield Park, the child/adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) is designed for school-age children who may benefit from therapeutic behavioral health services but do not need 24-hour monitoring and adolescents ages 12 through 17 who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or mental health issues but are stable enough to live at home during treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic milieu.
• Perform crisis intervention.
• Facilitate group meetings.
• Coordinate patient transportation.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Support department recruitment.
• Implement programs, training, and the schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology or any Human Health related field
• Experience: 3+ years of experience working within an inpatient psychiatric hospital with children, adolescents and adults; prior experience with crisis intervention (verbal and physical techniques); experience conducting group therapy sessions, performing vital signs and documenting nursing progress notes; experience supervising a staff of at least 4 employees or more
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); CADC strongly preferred
