Clinical Pharmacist Specialist - ICU

About the role

Join as a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to enhance patient outcomes in the ICU by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will participate in daily rounds, provide clinical pharmacy services such as order verification, pharmacokinetic, warfarin, and TPN consults, and work closely with physicians, nurses, and dietitians.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily ICU rounds with multidisciplinary team
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including order verification, pharmacokinetic consults, warfarin management, and TPN consults
• Assess patient health and monitor therapy
• Evaluate drug therapies and participate in medication management
• Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives
• Support cost-effective care initiatives
• Mentor pharmacy residents and students
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and dietitians

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• PGY1 residency required
• 2+ years of experience (preferred 2–5 years)
• Licensure for Medication Therapy Services in Missouri (MO)

Schedule

Weekdays with every 5th weekend required.
