About the role

Drive excellence in patient care through advanced clinical pharmacy services and strategic leadership. Implement cutting-edge pharmacy initiatives, optimize medication outcomes through evidence-based medicine, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our healthcare system.

Directly impact patient safety and quality by performing duties of a registered staff pharmacist, interpreting critical medication orders, and resolving complex drug-related issues. Mentor pharmacists and pharmacy residents, educate medical staff on cost-effective pharmaceutical solutions, and contribute to interdisciplinary committees to shape best practices. Guide the development of clinical programs, support one or more Service Lines, and ensure robust medication management across the continuum of care.

Requirements include a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy practice, proven leadership and teaching abilities, exceptional drug information expertise, proficiency in automated pharmacy systems, and a commitment to meticulous documentation of clinical interventions. Passion for pharmacy education, readiness to precept students and residents, and effective collaboration with diverse healthcare teams are essential.

Requirements

  • Nebraska Pharmacist License
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) through the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association
  • Residency completion OR 2 years of clinical experience
  • Board Certification

Schedule

Primarily Monday-Friday, with rotating weekend shifts. Weekend rotation (day or evening shifts) every four weeks.
