Clinical Nurse Supervisor

Position: Clinical Nurse Supervisor Location: LOH Main - Naperville Type: Full Time Hours: PMs 3pm-11pm Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse Supervisor oversees nursing staff and patient care activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality care delivery. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and documenting care plans, and evaluating outcomes. They supervise unit personnel, coordinate patient admissions and discharges, authorize overtime, and manage workflows. The role involves participating in routine projects, collaborating with medical staff, and resolving complex care issues. Additionally, they assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining staff while providing guidance on sensitive issues. Qualifications & Skills: Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing (for hires after September 2011)Problem solving, conflict management, and customer service skillsPreferred: Previous charge nurse experience and minimum of three years in behavioral healthCurrent Illinois RN licenseCPI certification within 90 days of hire Key Duties: Assess patients, develop and document care plans, evaluate outcomesSupervise and coordinate nursing staff and workflowEnsure compliance with standards, safety, and quality careParticipate in hiring, training, and performance evaluationsCollaborate with medical staff and resolve complex care issues
