Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions
- Develop and document care plans
- Oversee unit personnel
- Ensure safe and efficient nursing care
- Coordinate patient admissions/discharges
- Manage staff performance
- Work on unit projects
- Collaborate with medical staff
- Resolve complex care issues
- Assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining staff
- Provide guidance on sensitive matters
Qualifications & Skills
- Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current Illinois RN license
- CPI certification within 90 days
- Problem-solving skills
- Conflict management skills
- Customer service skills
- Preferred: charge nurse experience
- Preferred: 3+ years behavioral health experience
Key Duties
- Supervise nursing staff
- Ensure quality care delivery
- Facilitate communication among care teams
- Manage workflows for patient placement and discharge
Schedule
Work hours primarily PMs 3pm-11pm.
