About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a cardiothoracic or cath lab setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medications, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans, communicating effectively across the care continuum.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.
• Engages in professional development activities.
• Performs scrub and circulate responsibilities in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid RN license.
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years of experience preferred.
