About the role
A registered nurse with cardiothoracic or cath lab experience to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Educate patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs
- Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Develop individualized care plans and communicate across the care team
- Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and barriers
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience not required; less than 2 years preferred for advanced roles
