About the role

Clinical Nurse in the Operating Room, responsible for providing direct patient care, assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities enhancing patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the care team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and communicate care plans effectively across the continuum.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for higher roles.
