Clinical Nurse - Operating Room

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care activities within a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting complex procedures such as minimally invasive, cardiac, thoracic, robotic, lung transplants, vascular, and endovascular surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Promote patient and family-centered care
• Educate patients on illness management
• Ensure safety and quality compliance
• Develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Evaluate physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs

Qualifications

• Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred
• RN license required
• Experience in OR preferred; no prior experience required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work safely in a high-alert environment
