Join our team as a Bacteriology Clinical Lab Technologist and contribute to improving health and lives. Responsibilities Include Assess specimen acceptability based on established criteriaPerform routine and complex testing procedures following Standard Operating ProceduresOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentationMake technical decisions related to testing and problem resolutionPrepare and evaluate reagents and controlsProvide accurate, timely test results to support patient careConduct preventive maintenance and quality control activitiesManage testing supplies and assist with specimen processingMaintain a safe work environment and adhere to PPE protocols Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related field; or meet local regulatory requirementsFlorida State Medical Technologist (MT) licenseAt least 1 year of clinical testing experience or MLS degreePreferred certifications: ASCP, AMT, or ABBStrong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency with computers; laboratory information systems familiarity is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to pass a color vision test and flexibility for shift changes Ideal candidates are motivated to grow professionally and make a difference in patient care.
