Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist specializing in bacteriology, responsible for performing technical procedures, operating laboratory instruments, and ensuring accurate specimen processing and testing. Key Duties Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex tests following SOPsOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment for optimal performancePrepare and assess new reagents or controls and make technical decisions for troubleshootingDocument maintenance, quality control procedures, and deliver timely, accurate resultsMaintain a safe work environment and assist with specimen processing as needed Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical TechnologyMicrobiology MT license in FloridaASCP or AMT certification preferredExperience in clinical laboratory testing (3+ months preferred)Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systemsAbility to pass standardized color blindness test
