We are seeking a Technologist to perform routine and complex laboratory testing according to established procedures. Key responsibilities include: Assessing specimen acceptability and preparing samples for testingOperating, troubleshooting, and maintaining laboratory instrumentationMaking technical decisions and resolving testing issuesPreparing reagents and controls, and evaluating their performanceReporting accurate test results promptly to support patient carePerforming quality control, preventative maintenance, and managing suppliesAssisting with specimen processing and maintaining a safe work environment Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical TechnologyMicrobiology MT FL State LicensePreferred: 3+ months clinical testing experience, ASCP or AMT certification Skills and attributes: Understanding of laboratory operations and policiesExperience in high-volume labs, ability to work independently and in teamsProficiency with computers and lab information systemsStrong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skillsPhysical capability to perform job duties and pass color blindness testFlexibility for overtime or shift changes based on needs
