Full-time position at Liberty Campus Emergency Department, 40 hours per week.

Pay

Expected starting pay range: $126,089.60 – $163,924.80 annually. Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

Responsibilities

  • Model and establish a culture reflecting Core Values and cultural competence, providing guidance and coaching for team members.
  • Represent CCHMC at local, state, and national levels through professional associations and community service.
  • Provide programmatic leadership for clinical components, ensuring quality outcomes by developing goals, standards, policies, and practices.
  • Implement and monitor quality indicators, collaborating with others to plan, implement, and evaluate services.
  • Promote the clinical profession through participation in professional activities and support research in associated areas.
  • Promote a family-centered approach to care delivery, integrating the Interprofessional Practice Model (IPM) consistently.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills.
  • Hold self and others accountable for professional expectations and outcomes.
  • Maintain a working understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards, evaluating compliance and identifying best practices.
  • Lead corrective action plans to address deficiencies and ensure compliance readiness.
  • Provide leadership for operational priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and goals.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate long- and short-term operational goals for the department.
  • Drive execution of strategic plan components and monitor business processes for efficiency.
  • Design and monitor patient flow patterns to maximize clinical and staff efficiency.
  • Ensure policies conform to Medical Center guidelines.
  • Coach and mentor personnel to enhance professional knowledge and competency.
  • Oversee succession planning and provide mentorship to direct and indirect reports.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture and quality of work life, ensuring engagement and action planning from employee surveys.
  • Develop and oversee staffing and workforce strategies, including position control, recruiting, workforce planning, and inclusion management.
  • Champion an inclusive workforce and support organizational programs impacting employees.
  • Manage the department’s annual and capital budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Establish and monitor productivity metrics, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Identify cost-improvement opportunities through process analysis and recommend operational changes.
  • Provide 24/7 oversight for assigned programs, ensuring patient and employee safety and quality outcomes.
  • Direct and lead Clinical Managers and supervisory staff in day-to-day responsibilities and program oversight.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of work experience in Nursing.
  • Active RN License in Ohio.
  • Preferred: Supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
