About the Role

This full-time, exempt position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm at our Crisis - Recovery Response Center in Peoria, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Guest Care & Advocacy:
  • Provides short- and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis.
  • Provides family education and family counseling.
  • Provides crisis management services and responds to urgent/emergent participant needs.
  • Implements the transition/discharge care plan in partnership with each participant.
• Team Leadership:
  • Serves as onsite immediate supervisor for team members through role modeling and coaching.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.
  • Completes clinical documentation and required paperwork as required.
  • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
• Cross Functional Collaboration:
  • Ensures daily operations run smoothly and assures a healthy partnership with other stakeholders.
• Additional Duties:
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Independent State Licensure required. State-specific licensure details:
  • Arizona: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Must be 21 years or older.
  • North Carolina: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Ohio: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (LIMFT).
• Minimum of five (5) years of full-time behavioral health experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
• Basic computer skills and effective communication skills.
• Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
• Must be able to pass a seven-year background check, substance abuse testing, and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable).
• Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states.
• Must pass education verification check and, if driving is required, a three-year motor vehicle report meeting minimum eligibility requirements of the insurance carrier.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
• Successful completion and meeting all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or 21 for Arizona).

Physical Demands

• May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses.
• May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment

• May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility.
• May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused.
• Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.

Pay

$110,000 - $115,000 annually.
