About the role
The Physical Therapist Clinical Director oversees the operations and administration of a rehabilitative outpatient clinic providing Physical and Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations and health care requirements, patient evaluation and treatment, and managing clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Meet clinic and individual clinician census goals
- Scorecard review weekly with Regional Clinical Director
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Interview/hire clinical, administrative, and support staff
- Monitor staff compliance and resolve performance issues
- Manage physician referrals and direct access reviews
- Order clinical supplies and manage staff expenses
- Monitor and report on patient satisfaction and discharge policies
- Perform EMR schedule reviews weekly
- Manage new patient evaluations and discharge paperwork
- Conduct monthly clinical supply ordering
- Follow up on low Net Promoter Scores
- Review and approve timecards through ADP
- Monitor and address lost patient logs
- Participate in weekly meetings with Operations Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Doctorate degree preferred
- Professional License/Certification required
- CPR license
- Minimum of three years' clinical outpatient experience and two years' clinical supervision or clinical program development experience
- Able to troubleshoot, make decisions, and maintain composure in conflict situations
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Pay
Salary range is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
