About the role
The Clinical Director of ABA Services will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for Advanceable ABA’s North Carolina clinical programs. This role is primarily leadership-focused, but the Clinical Director must be located in North Carolina and available for in-person support, team development, community relationship building, and occasional travel to clients, staff, referral partners, or future clinic locations.
What You’ll Do
- Help set the clinical tone for the organization by providing guidance, oversight, and support across ABA service delivery
- Supervise, coach, and support BCBAs, BCaBAs, and other clinical team members
- Drive quality, compliance, and outcomes by monitoring clinical documentation, treatment integrity, client progress, supervision quality, and key clinical performance indicators
- Collaborate with families and stakeholders to promote strong, respectful relationships
- Help build and grow programs by supporting program growth, evaluating new clinical tools and initiatives, improving internal systems, and partnering with leadership on strategic planning
What We’re Looking For
- A collaborative and confident leader with deep ABA experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for assent-based, family-centered care
- Located in North Carolina, preferably in the Triad or Triangle area
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Current BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing
- North Carolina licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, as required
- 5–7+ years of ABA experience
- At least 3 years of clinical leadership experience
- Strong background supervising BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and clinical teams
- Able to travel within North Carolina as needed
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a multi-site or multi-state ABA organization
- Experience with home-based and/or clinic-based ABA programs
- Familiarity with clinical quality metrics, outcome tracking, and electronic practice management systems
- Existing relationships with North Carolina referral partners, providers, schools, or community organizations
