About the Role
This position involves assisting in the daily operations of a Behavioral Health Unit, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The role includes providing nursing care, supporting staff recruitment and retention, and promoting a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction aligned with unit goals and safety standards.
- Demonstrate accountability for self and team performance.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff development.
- Utilize critical thinking to manage staffing, delegate resources, and deliver patient-centered care.
- Support human resource functions such as coaching, evaluation, and staff engagement.
- Serve as a clinical resource and ensure comprehensive care addressing patients' physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs.
- Maintain a safe environment for staff and patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required or enrollment in a BSN program.
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience with leadership and supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and valid Ohio nursing license.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification; professional nursing certification preferred.

Schedule
This is a full-time, onsite role working nights.
