About the role
Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking to fill a full-time non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).
Responsibilities
- Lecture and lab instruction in OMM within the first- and second-year curriculum.
- Actively involved in patient care.
- Assist with supervising the third year OMM Teaching Service (medical students and residents) at the OSU Health Care Center Department of OMM.
- Assist with supervising medical students and residents at the OSU Medical Center hospital OMM inpatient service.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- D.O. Field of Study: OMM or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Board certified or board eligible in a primary specialty.
- Valid Driver's License.
Qualifications
- Earned a D.O. degree.
- Proficient in a variety of osteopathic manipulation techniques.
- Board certified or board eligible in a primary specialty and eligible for licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge
- A devoted interest in osteopathic medical education.
- Teaching and clinical experience preferred.
Pay
Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
