Clinical Administrative Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities

  • Functions as a Clinical Administrative Coordinator in the Utilization Review Department
  • Data entry of clinical information into the Facets system, via telephone, fax or computer
  • Builds prior authorizations and generates letters while staying within compliance with time frames
  • Communicates with providers and other departments as needed
  • Data entry of faxes into the FACETS system and telephone requests to meet department key indicator productivity and accuracy standards
  • Maintain minimum of 98% case data entry accuracy
  • Provide high level of customer service while communicating with internal departments and hospitals
  • Takes responsibility for problem solving to achieve key indicator goals

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare facility, medical office, hospital, OR managed care setting
  • Experience with medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, working within spreadsheets), and Microsoft Teams (communication)
  • Ability to work any of our full time (40 hours / week), 8-OR 10-hour shift schedules from Monday - Sunday during our normal business hours of 4:00 am - 5:00 pm PST from Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm PST on Saturday, and 5:00 am - 3:30 pm PST on Sunday, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and holidays based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, call center, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as primary job tools
  • Telecommuting Requirements
  • Reside within commutable distance to the office at 2716 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89129
  • Able to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
