Clinic Supervisor - Neuro Spine Clinic (Full-Time, Exempt)

Position Summary

The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the development, coordination and operational management of the clinic(s). The Supervisor supervises clinic staff, assists with program development, marketing and business planning in collaboration with the clinic leadership team and the Medical Director (if applicable) for the service. The Supervisor collaborates with providers, staff and Enloe’s leadership team to plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the provision of quality and efficient health care services and resources to promote optimal clinical, financial and satisfaction outcomes across the continuum of care.

Minimum Education / Training / Experience

• Two years clerical experience in a medical setting
• One-year supervisory experience in a hospital ambulatory area, hospital-based clinic or medical practice setting
• Desired: Associates or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field
• Membership in a professional organization and attendance to conferences regarding management and supervision of employees

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Demonstrates technical competence, professional judgment, strong communication and organizational skills, planning skills, creative problem solving and sensitivity for the patient experience
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for areas of responsibility to include standards of Medicare Conditions of Participation and criteria applicable to the clinic practice
• Communicates, advises, writes and consults in a professional manner
