About the role
The Clinical Supervisor RN oversees clinical support staff and manages workflows within the clinic. They serve as a key member of the leadership team, ensuring patient care is efficient, safe, and responsive to patients' physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. The supervisor collaborates with physicians, maintains compliance with clinic policies, and promotes staff development to enhance care quality and skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise clinical staff and activities
- Lead efforts to improve clinical staff skills and patient care quality
- Ensure timely, safe, and patient‑centered care delivery
- Work with physicians on nursing practice issues
- Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current Washington RN license and BLS certification
- At least 3 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in ambulatory settings
- Experience delegating nursing responsibilities
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field, ACLS certification, and prior leadership experience
