Role Overview
The Supervisor Transplant RN provides leadership and oversight for the transplant nursing team, collaborating with management to ensure operational excellence and patient care quality. Key responsibilities include directing professional nursing care, mentoring staff, participating in performance evaluations and hiring, and developing quality improvement initiatives in partnership with physician leaders. The role involves active involvement in all transplant care phases, demonstrating professional communication, a solution-oriented approach, and serving as a role model for staff. The position emphasizes delivering "Best Practice" to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes, fostering a team-oriented, patient-centered environment with accountability and respect.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Washington RN license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- At least 2 years recent clinical nursing experience in a relevant area with leadership qualities
- 2 years recent transplant organization experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC)
Key Duties
