About the Role
As a Referral Coordinator, you will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry of referral requests into the appropriate portal. You will follow up on all specialty referrals and coordinate care for urgent referrals. This role is an integral part of the care team, acting as a liaison between the patient, providers, utilization management, and various departments to ensure timely access to specialty care.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience required
- Medical Assistant certificate preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese) preferred
- Valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
Pay
$25.00 - $29.32 hourly
Actual salary offers consider various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure, certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
