Clinic Referrals Coordinator

Job Overview

The Referral Coordinator position is responsible for accurate and timely data entry of referral requests into the appropriate portal. They are also responsible for follow-up on all specialty referrals and coordination of care for urgent referrals. The referral coordinator is an integral part of the care team, working as a liaison between the patient, providers, utilization management, and various departments to ensure timely access to specialty care.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience required.
• MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATE PREFERRED.
• BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH/MANDARIN/CANTONESE PREFERRED.
• A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT OF A VALID BLS CERTIFICATION OR HIGHER, FOLLOWING THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) OR THE AMERICAN RED CROSS GUIDELINES.

Compensation

Compensation: $25.00 - $29.32 hourly. Compensation Disclaimer: Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
