The Clinical Concierge guides consumers through their entire visit, reducing treatment times and maximizing their experience before, during, and after care. This role is a vital part of the office team, assisting providers with front office, back office, radiology, and lab duties in an outpatient setting. The Clinical Concierge acts as a consumer advocate, maintaining continuous contact with providers, consumers, families, community agencies, and care staff.

Responsibilities

• Behave in a professional and empathetic manner to build trust and relationships with consumers and guests, aligning with Studer principles.
• Welcome consumers and guests, inquire about the purpose of their visit, and collect identification and payment-related documentation.
• Conduct consumer registration and perform point-of-service collections.
• Measure and collect consumer data, including vital signs (temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, respirations, blood pressure), height, weight, and pediatric measurements (length, head circumference).
• Conduct hearing and vision screenings, communicate results, and document all data accurately in the medical record.
• Collect and document consumer reason for visit, chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications for provider review.
• Complete standard operating procedures to optimize consumer comfort and throughput.
• Prepare consumers for examinations and procedures, and assist providers with care.
• Perform approved lab tests, diagnostic testing, and administer designated medications (oral, subcutaneous, intradermal, intramuscular) as directed by the provider.
• Instill eye drops and apply topical medications.
• Perform radiology and lab duties.
• Organize, schedule, complete, and communicate primary care, specialist, and ancillary referrals.
• Maintain consumer care supplies, medications, and ensure quality checks throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Health care facility clinical experience.
• Experience as a medical office assistant, LPN, CNA, or equivalent, including previous experience with an electronic health record and phlebotomy.
• Successful completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) education program.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• OR current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

• Knowledge of EPIC.
