About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Queens, NY is currently seeking a Client Service Supervisor to support and elevate the Client Services team. The ideal candidate will lead the training and development of new associates, ensure efficient staffing, and serve as a key connection between clients, patients, and the care team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, and ensure completion of the initial training program for new Client Service associates.

  • Guide the Client Service Team Leader to schedule associates cost-effectively to meet client needs.

  • Communicate with client service associates, both individually and in groups, to ensure consistent understanding of new ideas, changes, and ongoing communication.

  • Coach associates to anticipate and address client services proactively and seek assistance for escalated situations.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings and plan for their execution.

  • Seek new ways to better serve clients through training opportunities, feedback, and input from various sources.

  • Meet personally with clients to discuss concerns and questions about services provided.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and compassionate personality.

  • Experience in a supervisory role preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and client service protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience in a customer service or supervisory role.

Pay

$27.45 - $37.48 / hour + shift differentials. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example: Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$4.50/hr. Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$4.50/hr. Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$8.00/hr.

Schedule

Wednesday - Saturday, 8 AM - 6 PM.
