Client Service Representative, Summit
About the role
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, greeting them warmly and checking them in to the hospital. You will be responsible for assisting clients, discussing fees and payment options, answering questions about emergency cases that may need to be seen, and collecting deposits and payments.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients with a friendly demeanor and provide exceptional customer service
- Assess patients at arrival and determine the appropriate level of care needed for each pet
- Discuss clinic fees and payment options, and answer client questions regarding clinic services and pet care
- Communicate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians regarding patient status
- Maintain client information and medical records in an accurate and organized manner
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or veterinary setting preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Detail-oriented and able to accurately manage and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care, with a compassionate and caring attitude towards pets and their owners
