About the role

Our rapidly growing client is seeking an experienced estate planning attorney to work alongside the firm’s partners, financial advisors, and CPAs to provide estate and business planning services to their clients. This is a unique attorney role based in Bridgewater, NJ, ideal for someone charismatic and a terrific public speaker who loves helping people and making money. An entrepreneurial mindset and B2B approach are key.

Responsibilities

• Drafting legal agreements
• Reviewing estate plans and other documents/agreements prepared by legal assistants
• Public speaking and weekly presentations to clients (no cold calls needed; intakes are pre-set)
• Assisting in the design and implementation of advanced estate planning solutions
• Assisting in the design and implementation of charitable planning solutions
• Reading and interpreting new tax laws and legislative updates
• Educating the firm's financial advisors and CPAs about legal matters pertaining to typical clients
• Explaining legal and financial aims to prospective clients to build trust and understanding

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing in New Jersey
• Minimum of 4 years of estate planning experience
• Desire to meet with clients regularly
• Client-facing deal-closing ability preferred
