We are a boutique in Manhattan — a small, intentional firm where the attorneys doing the work are the attorneys clients call. Our Private Wealth Services practice serves real estate investors, business owners, and entrepreneurs with complex financial lives, which means estate planning here is deeply integrated with the transactions and ownership structures our clients are already navigating. The team is tight, the matters are sophisticated, and the culture reflects that.

Responsibilities

• Draft sophisticated estate planning documents: wills, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and handle estate administration.
• Advise clients on federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax strategies in the context of active transactions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of trusts and estates experience at a law firm, with meaningful exposure to sophisticated planning techniques — GRATs, ILITs, FLPs, or equivalent.
• New York Bar admission.
• Strong drafting background: wills, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, estate administration.
• Working knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax law.
• J.D. from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is a meaningful plus.

Pay

$160,000 – $180,000 per year
