About the role
- Drafting, reviewing, and amending a variety of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and other related documents.
- Advising clients on estate planning strategies and tax implications, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and federal laws.
- Representing clients in probate court proceedings, including the administration of estates and trusts.
- Negotiating and resolving disputes related to estate planning and probate matters.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to stay informed of changes and developments in estate planning, tax, and probate laws.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and tax law.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to estate planning.
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proven track record of business development and client retention.
