Responsibilities

  • Drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents
  • Estate and trust administration
  • Advising fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and family offices
  • Estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
  • Managing multiple matters and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Providing excellent written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar (or eligibility for admission to NY is a plus)
  • Prior experience in trusts and estates law, including experience with some combination of:
    • Drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents
    • Estate and trust administration
    • Advising fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and family offices
    • Estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and strong commitment to client service
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families is required

Pay

$160,000 - $175,000 per year
