Key Responsibilities Seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our team and advise high-net-worth clients on sophisticated estate planning matters.Draft sophisticated estate planning documents for high-net-worth individuals and families.Develop and implement advanced estate planning strategies focused on wealth transfer, tax planning, and asset protection.Prepare and review complex revocable and irrevocable trusts.Handle GST (Generation-Skipping Transfer) tax planning.Draft and advise on Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs).Draft Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts (IDGTs) and other advanced gifting trusts.Prepare Qualified Personal Residence Trusts (QPRTs).Draft trust modification and restructuring documents.Develop irrevocable trusts for gifting, estate tax planning, and creditor protection.Work closely with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to implement comprehensive estate plans.Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school.Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.At least 4 years of substantive estate planning experience; candidates with 3+ years of strong relevant experience may also be considered.Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth clients.Strong knowledge of sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.Experience drafting complex trusts and estate planning documents.Strong understanding of federal estate, gift, and GST tax concepts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters and deadlines independently.LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is preferred.A strong background in drafting and implementing complex estate planning strategies.
